When I first arrived last year, when I'd try to go to Google, it would take me to the Google.com page. Then it started redirecting me to the google.co.ug page. It works just fine, but I missed the different graphics that Google would post for their logo. I bet they were amazing for the World Cup!
Until today! Today is the inauguration of the East African Common Market Protocol, which will make trade and commerce easier among the five East African nations (um... Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi, and Rwanda; had to verify the last two) and is the initial step towards the East African Community (to be similar in concept to the European Union, I believe).
I have no idea what the text in the graphic says, or even what language it's in. I'm just thrilled to see it.
