I wanted to post this before I forgot... Next week is revision (reading) week, the week in which we get to cram an entire semester's worth of information to use for exams. I like the idea of a revision week; we'll have to see how it works in reality.
Exams begin 10 Aug, though mine don't start until the 12th. Once they start, they keep going:
12 Aug: Introduction to the Old Testament - 2-5
13 Aug: Theory and Practice of Mission - 2-5
14 Aug: Hebrew - 9-12
17 Aug: Pastoral Care, Counseling, and Guidance - 9-12
18 Aug: Christian Worship I - 9-12
19 Aug: General Church History - 2-5
Most people will be packing out right after exams; since our exam ends in the evening of the 19th, I think most of my friends will leave on the 20th. I leave on the 21st, and arrive home on the 22nd. I'll be one sleepy seminarian at All Saints' on the 23rd, but I'll be there!

Will be praying for your exams! I find it mildly disconcerting that they call it revision week. What exactly is getting revised? Your idea if what you should have learned throughout the semester?
ReplyDeleteThanks for the prayers! I don't know why it's revising; they just don't use the word "study." They will say that they are reading, though...
ReplyDeleteCrazy schedule! No time to breath! You'll hopefully have a wonderful nap on the plane to start making up for lost time...
