Today we were looking at leadership qualities as listed in Daniel 1; specifically, why Daniel and his friends were selected for the king's service: they were young, had no physical defects, were handsome, knowledgeable, and capable of learning.
In unpacking this (especially the no physical defects criterion), the speaker noted that Americans like tall presidents (Really? Is Carter tall? Any others?), and that perhaps that's why McCain lost the election.
I about fell over laughing.
