Monkey business

I have become accustomed to the 6:30am monkey cavorting; they run across the roof, on the water tower outside my bedroom window, and hang about the iron sheets that keep rain from the windows.  They seem to love playing first thing in the morning, and make a terrible racket doing it.

This morning there were between four and six monkeys playing; they kept coming and going, so I was never very sure how many there were.

So, they climb, run, and apparently nosh on grub from the ground (ants?).  I'm just grateful that my garden (such as it is) doesn't contain anything they're interested in, or I'd never eat any of it.

See the tail?  That means that the monkey is sitting on the iron sheet above my window, and let me assure you that it makes quite a racket.

See the pawprints above?  I see this picture with the face that went with the paws that made the prints; I must have scared him off the windowsill when I moved the curtain to take the picture.

But not for long, because they kept coming, noshing, climbing, and playing.

Then they went to the garden that's up the hill and behind my place.  This shot makes me think that he's saying grace. :)

Then he ate.

Then friends came to share in the feast.

And the galavanting began afresh.
