Fun at faculty board

Funny comment before this morning's faculty board: Fred asked me to plug in his laptop to the power strip. I noticed that the prongs were American, and did not have an adapter. I held it up and said, "This is an American plug; you know nothing that's American works here."  Fred quickly replied, "Except Jessica."  

And no, I didn't get it right away.
