Class of 2011?

Towards the end of last semster, there were some rumblings that perhaps we will be encouraged to finish our degree in two years.  At the time, this seemed optional to me.  It may well not be.  The school may be turning this into a two-year program, which would mean that I begin my dissertation while on holiday next year (September-December), and complete it, along with my coursework, the January 2011 semester, with graduation in June.  I'm now especially grateful that my bishop gave me an idea for a topic, though now the execution becomes something to resolve.
